Two disciples on the way to Emmaus

Two disciples on the way to Emmaus   Luke 24:13-17 『 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about three score furlongs. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. And it came to pass, that, while they communicated together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.  But their eyes were held that they should not know him. And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? Jesus appeared to the disciples on their way to Emmaus, but while they were talking to each other, they did not recognize Jesus at all. When Jesus' disciples recognized him after his resurrection, he disappeared at some point. Apostle Paul also personally met the ascended Jesus in Damascus. After Jesus was resurrected, he suddenly appeared to his disciples and then disappeared, making appearances unknown to humans. Luke 24:18-23 『 And the one of them,...

Baptize in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

Baptize in the name of the Father and the Son  and the Holy Spirit   Matthew 28:18-20 『 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever, I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. There are many things Jesus said to his disciples. Since the Father gave Jesus himself all authority in heaven and earth, the disciples are to act based on all the authority of Jesus. First, disciples are to make disciples of all nations. A disciple is someone who teaches everything the teacher has. A disciple learns from a teacher and teaches it to other disciples. What must be taught is the teaching of the death and resurrection of the cross. If this is missing, the gospel falls into humanism, legalism, and gnosticism. Are today ’ s churches...

Parable of the sower

Parable of the sower   Mark 4:3-9  『 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And the other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 』 This parable tells the secret of heaven. In Matthew 13:11,  “ He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. ”  Here,  “ you ”  are the disciples. Only the ...

Jesus prophesied the death and resurrection of the cross three times

Jesus prophesied the death and resurrection of the cross three times   Jesus has already prophesied about his death and resurrection three times. As for the first prophecy, it occurred immediately after Jesus elicited from his disciples a confession of faith "the faith they have in him," and spoke of the church that would be built from them. Jesus announced to his disciples his impending suffering, death, and resurrection, and said, "Since they too will suffer the same fate in this world as Jesus suffered, they will be taught what kind of spirit and life they should live as disciples." In Mark 8:31-33,  “ And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he spake that speaking openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee beh...

Death and resurrection of the cross

Death and resurrection of the cross   At the time of the early church, there was much controversy about the resurrection. Controversy over those who believe in the resurrection and those who do not. And there was a controversy over whether resurrection was  “ physical survival or spiritual survival. ”  So in the end, it comes down to a debate about whether to be alive physically or spiritually. John 3:13  『 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 』  If the incorrect translation is translated again through the Greek Bible,  『 in heaven Unless the Son of God comes out of heaven, no one can enter heaven. ”  Except the Son of Man, no one has ascended to heaven without seeing death. The Son of Man is the first man, Adam, and the first to come out of heaven. In Ephesians 1:15,  “ Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, ” In th...

Is it necessary to pay tithe?

Is it necessary to pay tithe?   Mark 12:41 『 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury 』 In the Old Testament, God told the people to pay tithes. The command to pay tithes is based on the law. Leviticus 27:30 says,  “ And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. ”  Church people today find the basis for tithing based on this regulation, and they also look for the origins of Abraham's offering to Melchizedek after the war or Jacob's vow before the law.   Jesus explains tithing again in Matthew 23:23.  『 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 』 If you look at the Greek in bold,  τα ῦ τα  [ δ ὲ ]  ἔ δει   ποι...

Corruption of the temple

Corruption of the temple   Mark 13:14  『 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:  』 On the surface, the temple begins with the Garden of Eden and continues with the sanctuary of Israel, Solomon's Temple, Zerubbabel's Temple, and Herod's Temple. In the Garden of Eden, the mountain to the east is the temple. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were expelled from the  “ temple called the Garden of Eden ”  by eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In the sanctuary, the Israelites also used the Ark of the Covenant as a tool of war. In Solomon's Temple, Solomon was a wise man, but he took a foreign woman and served idols, so God used the foreigners to destroy the temple. The Jews returned to their homeland from Babylonian captivity. God encouraged the Jews to build a temple through...
